This parade was actually on Mardi Gras day in downtown Biloxi. This go around we were more prepared, we figured out the parade route and went the night before to find a good parking space and a place to stand. We were right where the parade began, so we didn't have to wait around. We brought snacks for everyone and bags to put the "loot" into. It was a good day for a parade..very sunny and a slight chill in the air. Brad had the day off and we had a very fun family outing.
Amy and Jayson joined us, Joey had to work.
One of the parade floats. They weren't as nice as the floats I saw on the news for the New Orleans parades. Look at all of the hands reaching out!!
Beau was being difficult at the parade, he kept wanting to wander off. Daddy's shoulders was the only way to keep him in one spot. (Something totally gross I want to note: it was mildly chilly and while being on Daddy's shoulders, Beau nose was running and it kept dripping on Brad's head. I thought this was hilarious!!)
All of our loot: beads, stuffed animals, toys, cups, coins/debloomes, moon pies. What are we going to do with this stuff?

I am also noticing that blue sky! We don't see it much around here in Japan...I forgot how much I miss it! :(
