Zeke's Blessing

Since Zeke was born in Mississippi, we only thought it fitting to have the baby blessing in MS. With the timing of Dad's work schedule, we had to have the baby blessing only a few days after Zeke's birth. The blessing took place Saturday, May 1st at 6:30pm in Grandpa Griggs's home. Brad gave a beautiful blessing to Zeke and was joined in the prayer circle by my Dad, his Dad, his brother Brian, brother-in-law Joey, friends Aaron Garlotte, Ray Garlotte, and Aaron Cole. Zeke wore the cutest white blessing outfit that my Mom bought for him

Afterwards we ate chicken salad on croissants, fruit, potato salad and dessert. It was a really nice evening to celebrate Zeke's birth and it was special to have it in Barry's home. (We couldn't do it on Sunday since my parents were leaving that morning).

It is a wonderful thing to have your husband hold the priesthood and be able to bless your children. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ.
