Labor Day @ Pensacola, FL ....Part 1

Our NC friends..The Darlingtons recently moved to the Gulf Coast at Pensacola, FL only 2 hours from us. We decided to make a visit on Labor Day Weekend and hang out on the beach. So we left Friday night and got caught in the worst traffic, and of course Zeke cried practically the entire car trip. Arrived. Then all of us stayed up to 1:00am, including the kids, catching up.

Saturday morning, woke up and started getting ready for the beach. Of course I was over prepared and the men ended up carrying all my cargo onto the beach. Well, I needed the umbrella, chairs, cooler with the drinks & lunch, beach mats, towels, swim and sand toys, etc. We had packed everything we could possibly need at the beach.

It was perfect weather and great company. We all had a blast. Thanks to Becky for bringing her camera!! I brought the camera into the Darlingtons house but forgot to take it on the beach. . So here are a few of Becky's pictures

Beau wasn't a big fan of the water. The waves kept splashing him in the face.

The water was a great tempature, but you had to be on the lookout for jelly fish. Poor Ethan got stung :(
