Random Thoughts

1. I really want a smart phone so bad. So I have decided to get one. Well...not yet. I am going to wait until my contract is up so I can get a discount. I might have to wait another 6 months to a year but at least I have something to look forward to.
2. We fed the missionaries last night and I remember when I was young I used to get so excited that the cute boys were coming over. Now it just makes me feel old and I start thinking about my kids going on missions. Missionaries are always so thankful for dinner and always compliant me on it, but I know they are doing their missionary politeness thing. If I was serving them pig brains they would say the same thing. I am grateful to serve them and I try to make dinner they will enjoy but I feel like I am being patronized. I am not trying to be a grump or anything but I rather complements be sincere. 
3. It is making me jealous, frustrated and mad that many kids Zeke's age are potty trained. I think it is Zeke's and our fault. He is being so defiant about it and we haven't invested the time it takes to train him. I think we are just going to wait until he is 3...maybe 3 1/2.
4. School is back in full swing after Christmas break and I am really missing getting to sleep in. As I type this I am wanting to go back to bed but Zeke is up SO that means I have to stay awake. Not to mention I still need to finish the dishes from last night. I better get to it.
