- It has been raining nonstop for 5 days straight and I am about to loose my mind over it. I have noticed that the weather effects my mood.. especially my productivity mood. It has to stop raining or I might not accomplish anything! Plus since it is so nasty outside, I haven't been able to send the kids out to play and they are under my feet all the time.
- Since the Weavers are coming into town I have been forced to clean up (it has been a slow process due to the rain). As I was cleaning up the kids rooms, I came to the realization that my children's room are the place where toys go to die. We've got...
- Kasey the mini hoarder She keeps all kinds of trash and broken toys. For example...clothing tags, random pieces of paper, legs of Barbie dolls, plastic flower petals (not the flower as a whole but the petals that have been ripped off), etc. So I have to go while she is not there and throw away stuff because she won't let me if I am there.
- Zeke the destroyer- He rips book pages out, bends plastic pieces, and scatters toy pieces around the house. Not to mention he pulls on the clothes in the closet and ends up breaking the hanger. Then mixes the clean clothes with the dirty ones. Basically....he destroys.
- Beau the indifferent- Beau has to share a room with Zeke and you would think that Beau wouldn't let Zeke mess with his stuff, but he doesn't seem to care about his toys. When I ask him to clean up he just throws everything into a pile in his toy box. A couple of times I have taken away toys because he doesn't pick them up, and he seemed to care less and haven't even asked for them back.
- Restaurant week is approaching and I wanted to take advantage of their special at Epic Chop House, but due to the tax increase we are making $150 less a month. That may not seem like much but to a family of 6 on 1 income.. it hurts really bad. It even makes me angry for everyone who voted for Obama. Did they really know what they were voting for? I am believe people just voted for Obama on social issues or the fact they have always voted democrat. So yes, I am angry at them because I really wanted a nice Filet Mignon with some tasty dessert, but now I cannot afford it.
- ps. If anyone knows me they know we live very frugal and only debt we have is our mortgage. So when I say "I cannot afford it" is means that we haven't made any big financial mistakes but due to rising cost of everything, Brad's decent salary is sucked dry and we feel that it is better for our family for me to be at home with the kids, instead of going back to work. So we choose to make less... to have a parent at home with our kids. However, it would be nice to have the occasional fancy restaurant meal from time to time.
