Feeling a little sad because neither Kasey or Beau got into the charter school I applied too. We are wait listed and wait listed pretty bad..... Kasey #87 and Beau #304 on the waiting list.
So far I do like Shepherd's elementary, but I was trying to plan for the future. It would be nice to have all of your kids in one school up to high school, nice to have uniforms and not deal with the "well, she/he has this and that", and maybe avoid some of the problems that comes with over populated schools.
Our future chances do not look good of getting in because they have the most slots open when a charter school just opens. Then they have to make room for siblings and teacher's kids next year.
We will see.
