Christmas 2009

This year we spent Christmas with the Gibsons. Since all of my family lives close to one another, there were a lot of Family Christmas Dinners to attend and presents to open. Our Christmas vacation week was booked before we even got to NC. However, the kids loved seeing Grandma and Grandpa Gibson, not to mention all of the other Memaws, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. It was really nice to see family, and to confirm to everyone that I really am pregnant. (I am showing big time)

My Mom went big this year on Christmas, she made so many delicious meals and Christmas treats. Not to mention went all out on buying the grand kids presents. Our van was FULL of stuff to bring back to Mississippi.

This year the kids actually opened their own presents, instead of mommy/daddy doing it. They really got into it and wanted more presents to open!

Santa did come to NC, however he had to go light because everything he brought had to fit in the van to take back home. Here the kids just woke up and are coming down the hall to see what Santa brought.

Lots of books and movies, also a "cave" which Kasey calls it.
