This little stinker peed all over me while in the Turtle Talk Show. He was sitting on my lap and then I felt warm liquid running down my leg. I didn't say anything because I was too embarrassed to say "hey, my kid peed on the floor". So I hope they regularly clean their carpets.

A Disney Blur

We went to Disney World during the week of my birthday...it wasn't for my birthday, but it just so happened that we went during that time. We went with my parents and my sister family....and during that week it seemed we were in another lifetime...a Disney lifetime. Filled with rides, shows, lots to eat, planning, sweating, whining kids, rushing around, frustrating at times but overall FUN.

We got to ride and see almost everything except for some of the bigger roller coasters. So I would say we got "our money's worth." By the week was over...and I cannot believe I am saying this....I was tired of eating. However, the dining plan was my favorite part of Disney. Not having to cook or clean, and you can pick whatever you want to eat, and there was lots of choices.

I would say...yes, we want to go back to Disney, but next time all of the kids have to be at least 44 inches, so we don't need strollers and everyone can ride 90% of the rides. It was a little bit of a pain having to take turns watching Zeke and Lonnie since they couldn't ride many of the rides.

As always, I didn't take many pictures but Jennifer took tons, so I will have to get some pictures from her. I will post pictures I did take on my phone. It will probably be in broken into different posts.

Brad's treasure bags

It drives me crazy and I get on to him ALL THE TIME about this, but it seems that after almost 10 yrs I cannot break this habit of his. It might take 50 yrs to get him to stop doing this.

This is what I call Brad's treasure bags...basically it happens when Brad decides to "clean up" and throws random displaced items into a bag (or a box) and then puts the bag away out of sight. This is his version of cleaning up instead of putting them in the right place.

This recent treasure bag I found was on top of the laundry room shelf. It contents contain:

1. My work gloves that I have been looking for
2. My nursing cover
3. Diapers..probably too small now
4. Baby wipes
5. Christmas cards
6. Random prices of mail (hope there are no bills in there)
7. A few pieces of kids clothes
8. Baby food
9. Bulldozer truck
10. Thanksgiving looking wall paper
11. Wet Ones wipes

Wants her daddy

Lately, Lonnie has been wanting her daddy. The whole Labor Day beach trip she wouldn't leave his side.

Boating 2013

We did the Living Social coupon again this summer and the Weavers joined along (minus Brandon since he was on deployment). Once again we had a great time and realized that we truly love being on the water. However; renting a boat at 1/2 price is much cheaper than owning a boat. 

We spent about 6 hrs on the lake and it felt like the day flew by. I guess time really does fly by when you are having fun.

Zeke and his best friend/cousin Brayden even took a turn on the tube. They were so cute holding on....even though we were barley moving.

I still have some wake boarding life in me yet. It was fun waking boarding, but now I am paying the price because my entire body is sore. It is funny... it felt like I looked awesome out there, but when I looked at the video Laura took it wasn't impressive at all....haha

It may not be the best photo of us but it is the only photo of Brad and me together. Photos of us together are rare because either one of us has the camera or we divide and conquer the kids.

Laura was so very helpful and took turns holding the life-jacket(ed) Lonnie. She had to be held most of the time because the jacket was front heavy and she would fall over...plus half the time we were moving.

I think the day-cation was a success; I think we will do this again next year. Hopefully, Brandon won't be deployed the entire summer next year.
