I love love love the beach. So we went to Cocoa Beach, FL this year. It was so much fun. We invited my parents along to help with the kids, which turned out to be SO helpful. Brad and I were able to get away for bits at a time, not to mention my mother mostly did the cooking and bought most of the groceries.
We stayed in a two bedroom condo right on the beach, with all of the amenities you could need. Of course, we did spend most of our time on the beach. Just like their parents, Kasey and Beau loved the ocean and sand. Everyday we seriously had to throw Kasey over our shoulder and walk away with her kicking and screaming when it was time to come in. Of course everyone on the beach would look, but I don't care. I don't know any of those people.
It really was a wonderful trip; to get away from all of the crap that is going on was really refreshing. Sometimes you just need to make yourself go on vacation, because there is never the right opportunity to go.
Kasey and Dad really bonded a lot together on this trip. I really like the sunset picture. We spent so much time out on that balcony.
Lots of playing in the sand. Every night I found sand in all kinds of places. In their ears, up their noses, in the butt cracks, etc.
