Sea World

On our Florida trip, we made a visit to Sea World. It was only 1 hr from the resort, so why not!! I was not ready to the Disney thing yet (that is a whole other trip of its own), and Sea World seem right up the alley of small kids. And Boy did they LOVE it! Take it, it was so HOT and had to walk around in the entire park trying to make it in time for the shows, however I think everyone had a good time.

A couple highlights or happenings that happened at Sea World...
  1. I was super mad that everyone wanted to sit in the "splash" section of Shamu, because last time I was here while helping babysit for a family, I got 100% soaked! I had my cameras on me and I did not want to get complete wet. However, I was lucky and Shamu missed me..HAHA You missed!!
  2. My parents being the super extremely frugal people that they are..aka cheap, brought all kinds of snacks to eat for the day so we wouldn't have to purchase meals at the park. However, sweating to death and walking laps around the park, a pack of cheese crackers is not going to cut it. By the time 5:00pm rolled around I was so hungry that I could of attacked someone carrying a slice of pizza. Until I got some real food in me, I was not very pleasant to be around.
  3. I didn't get a chance to ride the roller coasters there, because no one would ride with me :(
Shamu Stadium was always packed, the show was awesome but a little cheesy.
SO TIRED! Both kids actually took naps in their stroller at some point during the day.

I actually got parts of the shows on film, and the kids love watching it on the TV. If I had to do it over again, I would of tapped the entire show. Next time.

I used the park map to provide some shade. It was really hot! Brad made fun of me because he said I was dressed for winter, but I was trying NOT to get sunburned.
